  1. Hey guys, hate to do this but I SO much prefer that you use Rafflecopter. PromoSimple is awful. Hope this is just a temp thing while you try it out.

I'm pretty familiar with the gamut of giveaway tools, and the only one that is slightly better for entrant usability is Giveaway Tools.

Thanks for rockin it with this awesome SSD :) My M4 is already out of date...

  2. Hey there Tamar. PromoSimple is definitely new to me and it's not a bad idea to try out different widgets to see which one the people like best. Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it greatly!

  3. Thanks for the reply. I can tell you as an end user that it's not as user friendly.

From experience, GiveawayTools/Rafflecopter seem to be top (GiveawayTools is my preference because you can auto-expand entries and not have to open/close everything). Then there's PunchTab and PromoSimple, but those are on the bottom of the pile. There are some new ones out there like Gleam which sports a nice UI but is not so friendly on the entrant side, as it also times out a lot.

Glad to see your willingness to try it out, but I hope this is just a trial ;)

    cheers!

  4. Tamar, share me more direct details of your issues to contactme@dragonblogger.com. I have thoroughly used every giveaway platform http://www.dragonblogger.com/4-sweepstakes-giveaway-platforms-compared/ Rafflecopter for 2 years, Punchtab, Giveaway Tools and PromoSimple.

Rafflecopter doesn't validate any entries, had thousands of fake entries in my iPad 3 giveaway where people just clicked "I DID THIS" for Twitter/FB follows for my sponsors without actually doing it, and since they are sponsor fanpages and not mine, I have no way to browse the fans to see if they are legit or not to validate the winning entry.

PromoSimple is the only platform that does require connect to Twitter/Facebook but 100% validates the entry for confirmation before allowing it. Punchtab does too but this requires the unfollow/refollow for twitter.

Giveaway tools as the least attractive interface of the bunch and performed the poorest bringing in the most complaints from entrants previously than PromoSimple or Punchtab. I carefully consider the benefits of the entrant and the sponsors. PromoSimple also allows me to get email always (FB doesn't always provide right email) and I can ask for first name and country right at the entry.
