Success! She's a Youtube Star!

Hey there.  Awhile back, I wrote this post about my daughter doing a Dwight impersonation.  Well, I finally got around to getting it up and here it is!  It's a small bit and she was a little shy but damn does this little one know her stuff.  lol  I forgot that I had a Youtube account so I think I'll start uploading some videos there.  This is the very first one!  Later!

  2. This is great. My 1-year old doesn't talk yet but she enjoys watching The Office and The Simpsons with me, so I am hoping she will come up with some funny impersonations soon.

  3. If your taking your camera "out and about" try using something to stand it on or a tripod, or atleast get a friend who can control their shakyness. A person walking while recording makes the video look confusing and unproffesional. Make sure you have a good angle weather you're staying still or walking around. No one wants to be looking up at you or way down at you. Have the camera in front of your face unless the video idea calls other wise.

  4. If you make vlog type videos, make sure you have a clean, but not-so-boring set. Hang up a blanket behind you instead of seeing your bedroom. It can be colored, patterned, whatever makes you happy. Having a nice clean background will make viewers focus more on you. Or you can record in front of a wall or something.

  5. Just start off by making video responses to other peoples videos as well as videos on your own topics. That will help build up your subscriber base. Also participate in the community by commenting and subscribing to other peoples videos.

  9. You get out of it what you put into it, so if you can't put in a solid enough effort to come up with your own ideas, mediocrity will be your companion for a loooong time!

  10. I want to do videos on Youtube, but im kind of nervous that it will be a big FLOP! I have very good topics to talk about but, how do I get ppl to watch them. I want my videos to be helpful and not just entertaining.

  11. You dont have to have great equipment. all you have to do is either do something so hard, something so cool, something so beautiful, something so funny or something so stupid. or a combination.

  12. If you wanna put music in a video while your talking- make sure its quiet enough so we can hear you talk! Its super annoying when the music is so loud that you can't hear the person speak.
