Hey there. I've been telling myself that I need to read more books and I started with a 2 classics, but now, I think I'm off to read something a little more on the unconventional side. I stumbled across this book, Last Snow, at the book store and I think I'm going to end up buying it. The author is Eric Van Lustbader and he's the same person that wrote The Bourne Legacy novel. You know, the one that inspired the the films that star Matt Damon as Jason Bourne.
The Last Snow is set in a similar vein as The Bourne Legacy, but The Last Snow can be classified as thriller as opposed to an action book. It features a dyslexic, street-smart ATF agent Jack McClure and through the use of his mind, can piece crime scenes together whereas others cannot. The New York Times said that this is a "A seductive, sophisticated, authentic thriller " of a book and that it has a “A terrific story, swift-moving and thought-provoking..." atmosphere. Check out the short video trailer of the book below.
Pretty awesome, no? It seems like it could be interesting one and I'm glad that I researched the book further before purchasing. I'm actually looking forward to reading it now. I suggest you guys check it out as well. Later!
