A Little Poem for the Wife

A feeling of love, it can't escape

A feeling of joy, you can relate

An intertwined heart has taken shape

and it's because I want you.

With highs and lows, no question, endured

With faith ever waving, no doubt it's obscured

Our love everlasting, that is assured

and it's all because I need you.

As heaven shines down, light from above

While birds cannot sing, not even a dove

While words cannot say, how much I love

and it's all because I love you.
