Nintendo 2013 Holiday Shopping Guide

Hey there. It's that time again! November is here! You know what that means?! Holiday shopping officially begins! Now, I speak from experience, it's best to shop early and avoid the monstrous lines. You can save even more by avoiding the crowded malls and toy shops by shopping online. This shopping guide will consist of nothing but Nintendo items. They have put together a strong holiday line up that has gone under the radar and I'm here to shed a little more light on it! The Legend of Zelda: 

Wind Waker HD Wii U Bundle

This is a must have any Legend of Zelda Fan!  The Wind Waker was one of the most critically acclaimed Legend of Zelda game and it has gotten the HD make over and is available for the Wii U.  But why just get the game when you can get the Wind Waker themed Wii U!?  The Wii U is the 32 gig deluxe version and the game pad is adorned with Wind Waker markings as well as the Hylian Crest.  As an added bonus, you get a digital copy of The Legend of Zelda: Hyrule Historia.  The book has everything you need to know about the world of Hyrule.  Another great add to an already awesome bundle!  The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Wii U Bundle is available now but you have to hurry.  This is a limited edition bundle and they may run out fast!

Skylanders Swap Force Wii U Bundle

Skylanders have taken the world by storm.  Almost everyone knows what Skylanders are and after the successful series of Giants Skylanders, the third installment, Skylanders SWAP Force is getting the Wii U Bundle treatment.  Skylanders SWAP Force allows you to swap the top and bottom halves of up to 16 SWAP Force figures to create and transform up to 250 unique characters.  And the best part?  All of your previous Skylanders figures are compatible to play on SWAP Force!  The Skylanders SWAP Force Bundle includes a white basic 8 Gig Wii U, a Skylanders SWAP Force starter kit (includes the SWAP Force game, a Portal of Power, 3 Skylanders SWAP Force figures (Nina Stealth Elf, Blast-Zone, and the exclusive color shift Washbuckler), Nintendo Land game disc, and a collector's poster, trading cards, and sticker sheet.  This is a great bundle for Skylanders fan!  The Skylander's SWAP Force Wii U Bundle will be available on Nov. 15th.

Mario & Luigi Wii U Bundle

Nintendo's most famous brothers finally have their Wii U bundle available now.  This Mario and Luigi bundle comes with a black 32 gig Wii U and 2 games, New Super Mario Bros U and New Super Luigi U.  Both games showcase some of the best platforming games that the Wii U has to offer and each game is filled with dozens of creative levels.  The Mario and Luigi Wii U Bundle is available now but you have to hurry.  This is another limited edition bundle and considering that it's featuring Mario and Luigi, they will not last.

Nintendo 3DS/XL & 2DS

Let's not forget some of the awesomeness that Nintendo's handhelds are coming up with as well.  Let's take a look at what your love ones would love to see under the Christmas tree this year.

Pokemon X & Y 3DS XL Bundle

Pokemon is back!  AND IN 3D!!!  Pokemon games customarily are released in pairs Pokemon X & Pokemon Y are no different.  These games have better graphics, better options, more pokemon, and did I mention that it's in 3D!!!  The games are available now but guess what... If you don't have a 3DS to play the games in, you can pick up one of the 2 limited edition 3DS Pokemon X/Y Bundles out in stores now!  You can pick up a red (displayed) or blue Pokemon X/Y themed 3DS but these are flying off the shelves!  Good luck!

The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL Bundle

The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past is one of my all time favorite Legend of Zelda games so you can imagine the excitement that came over me when a sequel was announced!  The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds continues the story of A Link to the Past and a Link will have to travel between Hyrule and Lorule in an epic quest using a new ability to transform into a drawing.  I, for one, can't wait until I get my hands on this game.  A Link Between Worlds will be available on Nov. 22nd.  But wait...  Don't have a 3DS to play the latest Zelda game?!  No worries, Nintendo has your back!  Check out this BEAUTIFUL black and gold The Legend of Zelda themed 3DS!  I simply love how the triforce is etched on the 3DS.  It's elegant and simply stunning.  The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds 3DS XL bundle will be available on Nov. 22nd.

Nintendo 2DS

Also comes in blue!

3D not your thing or you simply want to save a few extra bucks, then the Nintendo 2DS is for you!  The 2DS will play all of your 3DS games but it will not have the 3D capabilities.  Also, the design is made for the younger generation so if you want to pick up a 3DS but are afraid that your young one might break it, the ultra durable 2DS is what you need.  The 2DS is available now!

Nintendo Games

Mario Party: Island Tour - Mario Party has always been a hit with friends and this 3DS title is no different.  With 81 new mini games that will test your speed, concentration, and luck, the fun will continue for hours when you and buddies are locked into a tight battle. Available Nov. 22nd.

Wii Party U - Board games, mini games, and table top games will be the life of the party when you and friends decide to have a night of gaming.  The gamepad can be used as a table top and you can enjoy awesome games such as foosball.  A great game for a great time with friends and family.  As an added bonus, picking up this game also gets you a black Wii Remote Plus for free!  Wii Party U is available now.

Super Mario World 3D - Mario and friends are off to save Princess Pea....  wait... no their not!  Princess Peach is a playable character and is no longer the damsel in distress!  Mario and friends explore a brand new 3D environment on the Wii U and obtaining brand new power ups!  Like the much talked about cat suit!  Super Mario World 3D will be available on Nov. 22nd.
