Make the Best of Summertime with Coastal Dog Swimwear

Hey there.  I live in Southern California.  There's a running joke in our family that the weather in Southern California is "warm, hot, or hotter."  lol  Well, considering that it's been a warm Spring, I'm expecting it to be a pretty hot Summer.  Especially now so that I've moved into the Lancaster area.  From what I know, that's pretty close to the Mojave Desert.  So... what's a family of 6 to do to stay cool in the Summer near the desert?  BEACH AND POOL TIME!!!  We have family in Lancaster that has invited us to their pool anytime it gets hot and guess what... IT GOT HOT!  We grabbed our swimwear and were about to head out the door when my young one yells out, "WAIT!!!  DID YOU GET MY NEW BLUE SWIM SHORTS WITH THE DOGGY?!?!?!"  Why yes, son, we did grab your Coastal Dog swim shorts.

Our good friends at Dad Central and Coastal Dog provided my son with a pair of Coastal Dog shorts so that he can enjoy Summertime to his fullest.  He immediately fell in love with the tag and started calling them his blue dog swim shorts.  He made sure that we had them in hand before leaving to the pool.  You see, he's had some pretty bad experience with other swimwear before.  Either the shorts did not tighten well or the shorts would cause a rash or chafing because the inside lining wasn't all that great.  It would make his, and our, family fun time a horrible experience for him.  So when he felt his new Coastal Dog swim shorts, he was excited and happy that they were very soft and comfortable.  Especially the inside lining of his new shorts.  After slipping them on, there was no one stopping our young one from conquering the pool!

After a few hours of pool time, I asked my son how he felt.  He didn't really need to say anything for me to know he loved them. He didn't complain about any chafing and he didn't complain about the short falling off.  As a matter of fact, he went off and started dancing!  I love that!  

There is nothing better than that to watch your kids happy and my son's new Coastal Dog swim shorts have definitely made him happy.  But there is one more thing that makes Coastal Dog the absolute best... all profits go directly to charity. That's right!  Charity!  Coastal Dog sends proceeds from their swimwear to local charity organizations, such as Horizons for Homeless Children.  Not only are you getting some of the best swimwear but you are also helping less fortunate children as well.  Sounds like a win win situation to me.

Coastal Dog is a huge winner in my book.  I am looking to get a pair of swimwear for myself now that I see just how awesome they are.  They have many colors and styles and each give you that protection that we want from spending hours at the beach or pool.  Make sure you go and check them out and find that perfect pair of swim shorts!
