2014 NFL Week 4 Metal Power Rankings

Hey there.  Week 3 is now in the books and we are still trying to get a grasp at who are the contenders and who are the pretenders.  The game of the week?  The Broncos at Seahawks.  That was the Super Bowl match that we should have seen!  Last second heroics, by both teams.  Last second heroics to force overtime.  Last second surge to power through for the TD and the win in overtime.  It was one hell of a game!  Other notes from the week:  Are the Pats on the decline?  The Raiders gave them a good fight and if not for a questionable holding call at the end of the game, the turnout could have been different.  The Eagles continue to soar despite having to come back in each of their games.  Is San Diego on the rise?  After beating the Seahawks, Philip Rivers continues to air it out and lead the Chargers to a victory over the Bills.  More stunners, folks.  It one great week of football!  I went 5-5, again, this week (16-14 overall).  Still over .500!  lol  Now, on to the rankings!

Hey there.  I just wanted to have a quick post announcing our YouTube Channel!  I didn't want to bring it up until I had at least a few videos to check out.  The channel has gone live for a little over a month now (maybe 2) and I just uploaded my 4th video review last night.  I plan on having more of them on a consistent basis so make sure you stop by frequently to check it out!  I'm still new to YouTube and am not really sure how to best utilize it so if you have any feedback or suggestions, I greatly appreciate it!  So here's a playlist of my videos so far!  Enjoy!

Hey there.  People today are living fast paced lives and because of that many of them are getting out of shape. That’s why they are always looking for ways to get fit and hold that shape as long as possible. This can be very difficult especially because our time is limited. On top of that, the usual exercises that each of us knows are a little bit boring and people usually have trouble to remain motivated. 2014 NFL Week 3 Metal Power Rankings

Hey there.  Week 2 is now in the books and we more than a few surprises after 2 weeks.  Who would have thought that the Saints would be 2-0?  Antonio Gates catches 3 TDs against the Seahawks defense?  Eagles are down 20-6 to the Colts in the 3rd quarter and come back to win 30-27?  And injuries, injuries, injuries...  RGIII, Jamaal Charles, AJ Green, and Vernon Davis just to name a few.  Wow... what season this is shaping up to be!  I went 5-5 last week (11-9 overall).  Many surprises in last week's games so I'll take it! I'm still over .500 so I can't complain.  lol  Now let's see if your team made it into my top 9.

Hey there.  I'm a huge fan of music.  I need to listen to music at all times.  Listen to it at work, listen to it while driving, listen to it while blogging, listen to it while working on my yard... Hey there.  Who here fancies a game of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock?  o.O  What?  You're not familiar with the game?  It's a variation of the childhood favorite Rock, Paper, Scissors and there are many who know the game and know the game well.  In fact, this year, at Gen Con, the largest group of participates gathered and participated in the largest tournament of Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock ever!  The previous record was 2,826 participants and the new record is now 2,950!  And Oomba was there to organize and record the whole thing!

Hey there.  What an awesome start to the NFL season!  Week 1 is in the books and we have already had some thrilling games and some unexpected outcomes!  Who would have thought that the Dolphins would beat down the Patriots in a convincingly fashion?  The Packers looked mediocre against that stout Seahawk defense. The Falconts take down the Saints in overtime!  The Eagles down by 17 or so points to the Jaguars and STILL getting a victory by 17!  Talk about high flying offense!  Before we get to rankings, let's see how I did on my picks.  I went 6-4 last week (6-4 overall).  Not too bad... I'm over .500 so that's good.  lol  Now let's see if your team made it into my top 9.

Hey there.  When I was in high school, I would enjoy going to my AP Physics class.  Not so much because physics are thrilling, but because my teacher would start the class with a zen story.  These stories were meant to have the students think outside the box.  He deemed them, "thinking can't tales" and I looked forward to them.  They fascinated me.  They were indeed thought provoking and more often than not, I thought about the story well after class ended.  Well today, I came across a story that took me back to those days in class.  Let me tell you the story of Death's Messengers.

2014 NFL Week 1 Metal Power Rankings

Hey there.  Remember the NFL power rankings that I used to do years back?  Of course you don't.  lol  I started them off and wouldn't even finish the season.  But I'm going to follow through with it this time around.  I love sports and I love football and I watch plenty of football during the season to know a thing or two about ranking the top teams.  So here's the layout that I'll be using... I'll rank the top 9 teams and the Oakland Raiders (yeah... I know... they'll probably won't be in the top 9 but this is my rankings so I'll include them if I want to.  lol).  I'll give a little blurb about this week's matchup and a prediction for the game.  No scores, just straight up who I think will win the game.  I'll keep track of my predictions every week and see how we do at season's end.  New rankings will go up every Tuesday this season (I know today is Thursday, but I decided to bring this back last night) so make sure to come back and see how well I did in predicting the games.  So let's get to it!
