The Otaku Box - July 2022

Hey there. The July Otaku Box is here!!! Actually... it's been here... I just haven't had a chance to take pics and post. Anyways...as you all know... I sure do love me some anime stuff and I'm just so glad that I get a box of quality otaku goodies each month. This month's goodies include items from awesome anime such as: Black Clover, No Game No Life, Konosuba, and My Hero Academia. So let's dig into The Otaku Box - July 2022 Edition and get a closer look at what's inside.

Black Clover - Vanessa Enoteca

The Drinker Witch, Vanessa Enoteca, makes her return! Vanessa made an appearance in the December 2021 Otaku Box and this figure is inspired by the banner artwork! I recall really liking the artwork on the banner and I'm glad to see that art come to life! The figure is a pretty awesome one at that. The figure is pretty curvy and her hat, hair, and dress area all swaying, which makes it feel like Vanessa was frozen in time mid twirl. Love these types of "action" figures.

You see!!! Just another reason to love the Otaku Box. If the fan art is great enough, you'll get a figure made off of your work. Well done!

No Game No Life - Jibril Banner

JIBRIL!!! Anything Jibril is awesome. She definitely has one of the best anime figure, and personality, across all of anime. You simply can't go wrong with someone with a mind thirsty for knowledge that is also pleasing to look at. And this banner definitely pleasing to look at. The colors pop, the subtle stars in the background add personality, and that over the shoulder look is to die for. Absolutely love this banner design.

The Otaku Box - Phone Holder

Practical item!!! This adorable figure of Liz adorns this awesome phone holder! You guys know how much I like items that I use on the regular so that this phone holder will find a permanent spot on my desk from now on! Love it!

The Otaku Box - Beach Waifu Set of Bookmarks

I've always been a fan of fan art. It gives glimpses into how someone else views your favorite characters. It's a big reason why I love The Otaku Box. But I must say, I am not the biggest of fans of this particular Albedo fan art. The other ladies look great, but there's something off putting about the depiction of Albedo's eyes. Maybe they were going to some type of heavy goth, cat eye, demonesque type look? Whatever the case, it doesn't really work here and Albedo sticks out like a sore thumb in this collection. Huge bummer since Albedo is one of my all time favorite designs. 

Regardless, I love to read and I needed some great bookmarks. I'm an adult and I refuse to bend the pages of a book to mark my spot. lol I'll make sure to start using these bookmarks and save the pages my books from folding!

My Hero Academia - UA Pennant Flag

This is a pretty cool flag, right here! Who wouldn't want a pennant flag from everyone's favorite hero academy, UA High! I love that silhouette of Deku in the background and the UA motto, Go Beyond!, right in front. It's a great item to have hanging in a room, or office, or just about anywhere else you can hang a flag!

Konosuba - Aqua Button

Everyone's favorite water goddess, Aqua, shows off her party skills in this month's button. I really like the design of this button. It's screams out fun. The hearts, the stars, the colors, and Aqua herself. Everything in this button just seems to be a happy little thing that is glad to be there. 

Walkure Romanze - Celia Waifu Card (Bonus Item)

Ooooo... Celia waifu card! I'm happy to see Walkure Romanze getting some love in this month's Otaku Box. I've been saying that these cards have increased in quality and this card continues the trend. The holographic gold accents of the outfit really shine in this design. The gold buttons, the gold cords, the gold fringe on the epaulettes all really pop! Tie it all together with a holo floor and window and this card is a thing a beauty. Love it!

Hetalia - Japan (Kiku Honda) (VIP Item)

Hetalia! This anime is a very unique show. It's basically a satire, comedy where the powers of the world are made into anime characters and we see them during important historical/political moments. The show is full of stereotypes and goofiness, but the show is extremely clever in how it uses those characteristics. This guy, right here, is Japan... also known by his human name, Kiku Honda. He's usually in white, but I must say, that I like the black uniform better. This is a great little item to have, especially for those of us that are fans of the show.

And there you have it, folks. The Otaku Box - July2022 Edition. Man, I've been really loving some of the stuff I've been getting here. Because I am now considered a Legendary Subscriber (being a member for a year or more), I get some extra items in my Otaku Box.
