The Otaku Box - February 2023

Hey there. The February Otaku Box is here!!! I sure do love me some anime stuff and I'm just so glad that I get a box of quality otaku goodies each month. This month's goodies include items from awesome anime such as: Spy x Family, Overlord, and Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs. So let's dig into The Otaku Box -  February 2023 Edition and get a closer look at what's inside.

Spy x Family - Yor Forger

YOR!!! I've been wanting a Yor figure and I'm really happy that The Otaku Box delivered! The Thorn Princess is looking mighty fierce in this design. Wielding her stilettos, both on her feet and in her hands, Yor looks like she's ready to jump into action! 

As for the design, I really like how the design makes well use of curves... especially in the dress. Yor, herself, has a pretty fit physique and this figure does it justice, but where the design really shines is how the dress feels like it's flowing. The curvature of the dress gives that vibe that Yor is descending on you from up above. It's a great way to give the figure motion without it actually moving. Very well done!

Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs - Nonko Arahabaki Banner

It's great to see Yunna and the Haunted Hot Springs get some love! Especially love towards the voluptuous oni, Nonko! She's such a fun character that can be a total bad ass when needed! Also, I really love the artwork of this banner. Everything about it just exudes relaxation: Sandals, sake, floral designs. Even Nonko herself is looking mighty relaxed while holding a bottle of alcohol. Love it!

The Otaku Box - Liz Valentine Tea/Coffee Mug

Awwwww... Liz wants to be our Valentine!!! This Valentine's Day Mug is adorned with the lovely Liz holding the one thing that is synonymous with Valentines' Day... CHOCOLATE! The only gripe that I have with this mug is that is it is rather small. It's a 6 ounce mug... 8 ounces if you fill it up to the brim. This is just a personal thing, though. I just really like my mugs to be big enough to hold at least 2 cups of coffee. BUT... don't let that take away from how great this mug is. Practical items will always be awesome items, Liz!!! Thank you!

High School DxD - Akeno Acrylic Figure

I really, really, really love this depiction of Akeno. It has a more mature look that takes a step away from the, "cartoony", look High School DxD uses. Also, her sultry look, her blushing face, and her holding her shoulder strap just screams, "look at me". As an added bonus, it's a nice touch that both the angel & devil wings are on display. Now this is an acrylic figure that demands a spot on the showcase!

The Otaku Box - Waifu Small Bag

This Otaku Box is full of femme fatales! This small item bag is perfect to hold small items, such as charging cables and what not, but what really makes this bag awesome is that it has a scantily clad mystery waifu on it! Now... there's no telling who this mystery waifu is but if I had to take a guess... I would say it's Rias. The body looks right, the face looks right, even the hair looks right. The only thing that tells me that it may NOT be Rias is that the ahoge is missing. Maybe it was an oversight in the design? Maybe it's not Rias? Who do you think this mystery waifu is? Darling in the Franxx - Zero Two Waifu Card (Bonus Item)

This is such a fun design of Zero Two. I love the carefree angle that this design takes. Seeing Zero Two falling from the sky, with a wink in her eye, is simply divine. You know what else is divine? Look at those thighs! Wow! Just look at them. Who knew that Zero Two had a serious leg workout! 

The Otaku Box - Valentine's Day Card from Liz (Bonus Item)

Awwwwww! More Chibi Liz cuteness! This time in a Limited Edition Collectible Card! This is the first of it's kind so I'm curious to see how these will differ from the Waifu Cards. Well, obviously, these collectible cards are not holographic but aside from that, I wonder just how different these cards will be. I can't wait to see what Liz has planned!!!

Overlord - Albedo Car Sticker (VIP Item)

Albedo!!! This Albedo design is freakin' awesome! This chibi style is extremely adorable! And she's holding an Ainz plushie?!?! AWWWWWWWW!!!! LOVE IT!

And there you have it, folks. The Otaku Box - February 2023 Edition. Man, I've been really loving some of the stuff I've been getting here. Also, because I am now considered a Legendary Subscriber (being a member for a year or more), I get the Bonus and VIP items in my Otaku Box. Lastly, going through the items this month, I'm going to give my favorite item vote to...  Albedo! Don't get me wrong, Yor is a super close second, but I gotta give my favorite vote to this adorable Albedo sticker design!
