Hey there. It's time to announce a winner!!! I asked you guys which Final Fantasy game was your favorite and there was no doubt that the majority love Final Fantasy 7. Final Fantasy 6 came a close second! Personally, I'll always give Final Fantasy 7 the edge since that was the first FF game in which I pulled all nighters to play. Anyways, we are not here to reminisce. We are here to announce the winner of Final Fantasy XIII-2. And the winner is...

Getting Ready for The Gladiator Rock'n Run
Hey there. My year of fitness continues! I made a promise to myself that this year would be my year of fitness. That I would try to be a little more on the fit side than the flabby side. Now, I haven't gone all out and became a fitness guru, but I have made more of a conscience effort in being more active. This year, I managed to complete two 5K runs and am scheduled to do two more runs. Never before have I participated in a 5K. Sure, I've done some running during my school days, but I never signed up for a marathon or anything like that before this year so I am really proud of being able to complete The Color Run and The Hero Rush. I have already signed up to participate in the Super Spartan Race (use promo code SPEAR10 for $10 off registration!) in January and recently, I stumbled upon another great 5K run and this one seems to be right up my alley! The Gladiator Rock'n Run!!!
The Gladiator Rock'n Run will be at The Rose Bowl on Oct. 6, 2012 and this guy is going to be there! It's the first time that I've heard of this run but talking to friends, it seems that it's not the first time they'll be at the Rose Bowl. When asked how challenging the course is, my friends simply said, "It kicked my ass!" and quite frankly, I CAN'T WAIT! I've already started an exercise regimen to start building up my stamina. I managed to power through The Hero Rush while practically blind, but something tells me that I'm going to have to rely on my strength to get through the Gladiator Rock'n Run! Any tips? Later!!!

The Loss of a Baby Cousin
Hey there. I've been kind of missing this past week. I found out this Monday that my baby cousin (2nd gen cousin) passed away recently. It devastated me. Especially since my little baby cousin's dad (1st gen cousin) and I grew up together and I've always felt close to him. It's tough to have to bury a child. It is the most devastating thing that a parent would ever have to endure. While at the viewing, I couldn't but to get choked up. A small angel... lying there motionless is not what a baby should be. A child is the epitome of life, the essence of joy, and the very definition of a growing family. To have a young one be taken away from you before he had a chance to experience the outside world, shattered those thoughts for my cousin, his wife, and the whole family.
